Included Coverage for All Full-Time Undergraduate Students
All full-time undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the at no additional cost. ȺP pays the premium for this plan, which covers inpatient, outpatient, and other services outlined by UnitedHealthcare.
Optional Health Insurance Plan (Plan II)
In addition to the injury plan, ȺP offers a Student Health Insurance Plan (Plan II) through UnitedHealthcare to help cover more serious or costly illnesses, hospitalizations, surgical care, and physician services.
- Annual premium cost: $1,917.00
- Coverage is added automatically unless waived by the deadline. (You must waive coverage annually.)
- Plan available to domestic and international students.

Waiving Coverage
You may opt out of the ȺP Health Plan if you have comparable health insurance.
How to Waive Coverage
- Visit
- Type “ȺP” into the search box and click the magnifying glass.
- Select “Waive Coverage” or “Opt-in.”
- Choose ȺP from the dropdown and click “Continue.”
- Click on “ȺP Waiver Form.”
- Enter your date of birth and ȺP student ID.
- Follow the prompts, complete the form, and click “Yes” if waiving coverage.
- Type your name as a digital signature and click “Submit.”
- A confirmation screen will appear once the waiver is successfully submitted.
Ensure your current insurance information and ȺP student ID are on hand before starting.

Waiver Deadlines
- Fall Semester:
- Begin waiving: June 1
- Deadline: September 6
- Spring Semester (new students only):
- Deadline: January 15
Students who do not complete the waiver by the deadline will be charged the full annual premium on their tuition and fees bill.
